About

The ICD (Inflow Control Device) water control screen, integrated with reservoir numerical simulation, enables precise design of orifice quantity, effectively managing the necessary pressure differential for production. This setup prevents premature water and gas breakthrough, delays the coning of edge and bottom water, enhances oil and gas well recovery rates, and extends well longevity. Formation fluids, once filtered through the screen's sleeve, proceed to the ICD water control unit. Here, they undergo flow regulation before being directed into the screen's interior for extraction. Comprising a support and diversion ring, a rotatable balancing ring, locking and sealing device, the ICD water control device boasts triple-stage flow resistance. Its orifice plates are equipped with tungsten alloy nozzles for superior performance. Features  Set with tungalloy chokes and treated with special hardening process, the ICD nozzles prevent fluid corrosion/erosion and secure the service life  Three-stage additional choking capacity can realize the functions of small flowrate but large resistance, greatly expanding application ranges.  Convenient field operation, screen inflow rate can be adjusted through rotating equalizing ring for sealing off unnecessary orifices.  Reservoir analysis and numerical modeling are used to optimize ICD water control proposal, and realize fluid profile balance, restrain the edge and bottom breakthrough, and extend the well life.
