About
The water control principle of CAICD screen fully reflects the life-cycle design concept of STARSE, and its function of water control and oil recovery enhancement covers the whole production cycle of the oil well. The CAICD water control mechanism can be divided into two stages. The first stage of water control is the early stage of oil well production. According to the actual data of reservoirs, simulation software is used to design the number of nozzles on the CAICD device to reasonably control the production pressure difference of each layer, maintain the balance of oil and water contact, prevent early water breakthrough, delay the bottom/edge water coning, and achieve the purpose of early stage water control. At the same time to make up for the insufficient defects of single CAICD device in the early stage of the water control. In the second stage of water control, that is, in the middle and late stage of oil well production, the water cut of different production layer of the oil well is different. The CAICD can change the opening degree of the valve body according to the water cut of the production stage (i.e. the comprehensive viscosity of the fluid), so as to achieve the choke effect of automatic water control. Features Adjusts orifice count for flow restriction & oil-water balance. Intelligently identifies fluids, auto-adjusts opening based on properties. Efficiently restricts water, boosts oil flow (4-8x oil/water ratio). Full-life water control for optimal reservoir management. Suitable for ultra-low to high viscosity oil. No special tools for gravel packing, rates unrestricted. Can increase liquid extraction without moving string, controls water. Direct injection for acidizing, plugging removal.
