STARSE Reservoir Simulation Software

  • 5 Steps

About

STARSE Company boasts two suites of reservoir numerical simulation software capable of meeting the needs for reservoir numerical simulation and well completion design, enabling the optimization of water control strategies for well completions. Specifically, Race.D is a proprietary software for reservoir analysis and well completion engineering design developed by STARSE, whereas Netool is a renowned international commercial software. Race.D software - self-developed - continuously updated and iterated This software combines drilling parameters, geological analysis, water control design, and data reporting. It uses advanced techniques to predict reservoir and fluid properties accurately. The water control design is grounded in seepage mechanics, engineering fluid mechanics, and water cone research, refined through numerous iterations and applications in hundreds of wells. It offers simulations and comparisons of friction, pressure, productivity, flow profiles, pressure drops, saturation, permeability, production rates, and cumulative oil output. The 3D display helps visualize water cone formation for better design. Netool software - commercial software - perpetual legal usage license NETool is a numerical simulation software for reservoirs, completions, and fluids. It includes models for various screens and reservoir productivity, calculating flow rates, wellbore pressures, etc. It simulates vertical, horizontal, and deviated wells and is popular in the market. Yet, it lacks well trajectory, geological, and dynamic simulation features.
